Bellstech, often known as Bells University of Technology (BUT), is Nigeria’s first private institution of technology. The Bells Educational Foundation created it in 2004, and it began taking students in 2005. The institution is in Otta, Ogun State, and was created by Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, who used to be the President of Nigeria.

Bellstech’s main goal from the start was to encourage new ideas and academic success. It still helps young people who desire to be leaders in science and technology today. Colleges and Departments at Bells University

College of Engineering

The College of Engineering has programs in Biomedical, Computer, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Mechatronics. It helps students turn ideas into useful new things by focusing on creativity and problem-solving.

College of Environmental Sciences

Architecture, Building Technology, Estate Management, Quantity Surveying, Surveying & Geoinformatics, and Urban & Regional Planning are all subjects that students at this college learn about. As a result, they learn how to make smart cities and communities that will last.


Admission Requirements

Each department at Bells University has its own requirements for admission. For instance, the Department of Physics and Electronics needs five O’Level credits, such as English, Math, and Physics. Also, the Departments of Applied Mathematics, Statistics, and Industrial Chemistry require students to have excellent backgrounds in math and science. Direct Entry programs are also open to qualified candidates.
