A Short History of Afe Babalola University
People know that ABUAD is a leader in high-quality private education. Former President Goodluck Jonathan opened the College of Engineering, which is one of the largest in Africa and is built on 3.5 acres of land.
The main campus is across the street from the Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti. It has six undergraduate colleges, a postgraduate school, a teaching hospital, modern dorms, staff housing, sports facilities, and support services like a bakery, laundry, and water plant.
The Nigerian federal government and ABUAD worked together in 2014 to use the Federal Medical Center (FMC), Ido-Ekiti as its teaching hospital for 10 years in order to meet the National Universities Commission (NUC) requirements.
